Extension buildings

After a construction period of 15 months the new building at the "Kehr" factory complex was opened in April 2006. This gives us the possibility to significantly enlarge the production area. In addition it provides storage area in the basement as well as an annex for the logistics operation. The building is connected to the main production building and airconditioned. The use of rain water and the heat recovery system are also connected to the main building.

Already in April 2007 we started the construction of a further new building. The granting of the building permission meant the start of a construction project with an ambitious timing. A new production site should be ready in the shortest possible time. Already in May the first construction machines arrived at the site, the steel construction was erected in November 2007 and in September 2008, right on schedule, operations started in the light-flooded manufacturing halls. In spite of the tight schedule high importance was placed on ecological aspects during the construction of the building. Stringent re-use of heat and energy are proof of this. Various storage and logistic areas are heated by re-use of waste heat generated by the production machines.
